The Doctor

The internist was born and raised in Mytilini.
Dr. Danai Agiasotelli graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in 2004 with a grade of “Very Good”.

After the completion of the field service at P.I Loutron and K.Y. Plomariou, she specialized in Internal Medicine initially at the Mytilini Hospital for 18 months and then completed her specialization at the 2nd University Department of Hippocrates Hospital of Athens.She actively participated in the Outpatient Hepatology Clinic (2011-2015) and attended the courses of the 7th School of Hepatology that took place in the academic year 2013-2014. The results of her research have been published in international journals and she has been awarded by the Medical Society of Athens for her research presentations as well as by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY).

She has participated in numerous published announcements and oral presentations – lectures in Greek and international conferences.

In May 2017, she obtained the title of PhD of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with the grade of Excellent.

She has treated patients in different conditions (clinic, hepatology department, emergencies, hospitalized patients, vulnerable groups of patients in the context of voluntary action) during her clinical course and training.

In her practice, diseases of the Internal Medicine spectrum are treated (diabetes, dyslipidemia, arterial hypertension, infections, liver diseases, etc.).

Patients with chronic health problems are monitored and advice is provided on primary health care issues as well as problems requiring investigation.

Her main concern is the application of a medical approach that prioritizes prevention, health and safety of her patients by combining scientific knowledge with her love and dedication to the medical profession.
